Honesty

OUR CORE PRINCIPLES

EACH HAS A RELATIONAL QUALITY THAT PARALLELS THE ARCHITECTONIC REFERENCE DESCRIBED BELOW.

The crafted and honest display of materials and structure speaks to the natural human instinct for rightness and truth. In the purest form, “honest” architecture would use no veneers, finishes, or hidden supports. It would be derived from nature and crafted by the human hand. However, in the pragmatic and rational context of modern construction practices we look to the “nature” of materials to imply the appropriateness of their use.
