Grant Suhr

Architecture

Grant joined APMA in 2017 bringing solid technical expertise working on education projects across the region. An expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit, Grant is responsible for to development of construction documents and providing a link between the project designers and the construction administration team. In the recent past Grant worked on the design of stores for a national company, taking the project from prototyping to construction administration. Each project had the same drawings but different contractors, affording Grant the opportunity to learn about how various builders interpret construction documents. This experience has given Grant a unique understanding of best practices for creating detailed, clear documents, a critical component to any successful project.
