film streams theater omaha Film Streams is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of the Omaha-Council Bluffs area through the presentation and discussion of film as an art form. Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture designed the new two-screen cinema for Film Streams, and on July 27, 2007, the Ruth Sokolof Theater opened on 14th and Webster in the new Saddle Creek Records development. The project included two theaters (206 and 96 seats) with reel-to-reel projection systems and DVD and high-definition projection capabilities, a lobby, concession areas, 2nd floor conference rooms, and a full catering kitchen.
