After successfully completing the design of an expansion to the SAC Museum in Bellevue, Alley Poyner Macchietto was awarded the contract to develop a 10-year master plan for the Strategic Air Command Museum. The plan included an inventory of existing conditions for the museum's collection, exhibits, physical environment, site, building and fundraising potential as well as feasibility studies for relocating the museum. As a result of this work, it was decided to move the museum to its current location near Mahoney State Park. Alley Poyner Macchietto was also responsible for programming, and preparing cost estimates and a schedule for phasing the work. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
