Formerly the Lincoln Benefit Life Building, the Federal Trust Building is of great significance to the preservation of downtown Lincoln. First National Bank of Omaha contracted with Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture to design the complete renovation of the 12-story, 73,000 s.f. building, into state-of-the-art office space for 17 individual tenants. The beautiful marble pillars and floors were restored giving an ambiance of stability and security to the financial institution. The first two floors are occupied by the bank for loan production and financial services. The remaining floors are commercial tenants. Built in 1925, the Federal Trust Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
