The new headquarters for the nationally-recognized Saddle Creek Records, Film Streams independent film theater and Slowdown bar and concert venue, creates an urban art center and sets the tone for the NODO development in the area of North 14th street in Omaha. The two buildings include offices, a theater, bar and concert venue, 2 artist lofts, apartments (600 to 1200 s.f.), warehouse, and retail space including Urban Outfitters, Blue Line Coffee, and others. Alley Poyner Macchietto's design addresses the major elements of the area - the Qwest Center, Creighton University, Hot Shops and Tip Top Apartments/In Play - and creates an urban corridor, allowing for future development of shops. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
