The 13,000 sf renovation of the McDonald-Belton Building, included a Student Welcome Center, administrative offices, a seminar room, campus bookstore, student success center, community service space, and a library. A new parking lot, landscaping, and a new 'prominent' main entrance were also added. A raised, linear 'clerestory' was used to emphasize the main entry and bring natural light to the interior of the building. Limestone panels with appropriated 'quotes' were incorporated into the entry hall. The building houses the following programs: academic transfer, business/office technology, health occupations, community services, music, art, drama, and athletic programs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
