The 46,000 s.f. renovation and 21,000 s.f. expansion of the Schmid Law Library was a joint venture with Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture and Sinclair Hille & Associates. Objectives for the project included improved circulation, accessibility, and security, upgraded technology systems, and increased stack space. In addition, new staff work spaces, faculty office suites and a lounge, and student study spaces and reading rooms were included. Another aim was to give the Law College a "presence" on the campus through the design of a prominent entrance to the school. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
