Baum Drug has become a fixture in Omaha's Dundee neighborhood at the corner of 50th and Underwood. Built in 1912 as the Harte Block building, owner Alan Haney wanted to convert the two stories into ground level retail space and apartments above. The design includes luxury apartments, Omaha's own Ted and Wally's ice cream, a Subway sandwich shop, and new garages. The historic renovation of the 11,000 s.f. structure was completed in the fall of 2006. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
