brandeis residences Constructed in 1906, the Brandeis Building at 16th & Douglas holds many memories for five generations of Omahans. Alley Poyner Macchietto designed 145 condominium units and two floors of retail and restaurant space for the historic renovation that celebrates the building's landmark status. The ten-story, 425,000 s.f. structure was converted into state of the art residences, complete with a gym, two restaurants and retail tenants without changing the familiar facade. The first, finished units were completed in the fall of 2006.
