drake court apartments Built in 1918 as a planned urban development, the Drake Court housed 215 efficiency living units distributed among 14 brick buildings. The 155,000 s.f. renovation kept the existing building structure and shell, but replaced the efficiency apartments with a combination of modern one, two, and three bedroom floor plans. The historic courtyard has been restored to a condition as near original as possible. Tenants who live at the Drake Court each have a secure, indoor parking space in the bus barn building, which has an entrance located on the lowest level of building seven.
