hill apartments Built in 1919 and listed in the National Register of Historic Sites, the Hill Hotel is one of the last surviving examples of Colonial Revival architecture that still exists in Omaha. Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture was selected to restore and renovate the building, converting 12 floors into apartments while designing the ground floor for commercial and retail space. The exterior of the building was fully restored, and the lobby, corridors and other significant interior spaces were preserved. The Hill Hotel serves as the southern terminus of Omaha's 16th Street Mall.
