Alley Poyner Macchietto completed four maintenance shops and a Freeway Management Center for the Nebraska Department of Roads. The maintenance facilities are located throughout Nebraska, in Fullerton, Blair, South Omaha and Hebron, and incorporate heated and insulated vehicle bays, wash bays, office and crew space, storage space, and the use of low maintenance materials. The two-story, 9,000 s.f. Freeway Management Center in Omaha, meets the needs of the Nebraska State Patrol and NDOR and involves a new addition to the existing State Patrol building. The main space includes a joint operations room for State Patrol dispatchers, an NDOR media room, war room, conference room, break room, and office space.
