Known as the largest space-themed indoor water park in North America, the new water park inside the Grand Prairie Hotel & Convention Center features an oversized moon crater pool, waterfall hot tub, tub slide, body slide, lazy river, "moon base" island, a large activity pool, exercise pool, water basketball, and a video arcade room. The Kansas Splashdown water park was part of a larger project to renovate the hotel and add on convention space and a restaurant.
