Working with the City of Omaha and the River City Star, Alley Poyner designed the joint use facility to relate to the 'Parkitecture' aesthetic adopted for the Riverfront Development. The facility will be used for riverboat tour outings and gatherings, as well as restroom facilities for the Riverfront Park. Burnished block, stained cedar siding and standing seam metal roof were chosen for their durability as well as aesthetics. Miller Landing includes public and private restrooms, indoor and outdoor gathering space, an office, ticket window, garage, storage space, and retail sales space. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
