New Urbanism in North Downtown

When the owners of Saddle Creek Records looked out on the 30+ acres of abandoned rail yards in North Downtown, they saw a blank canvas on which they could create a living, evolving space. Working hand in hand with their team, and later the people behind Film Streams, Urban Outfitters, Blue Line Coffee and others, we developed a mixed use space that is the hub of an emerging North Downtown. The anchor of the development is the 470-capacity rock club known as Slowdown.
