New Neighbor in Old Dundee

APMA was tasked with helping create a contextually sensitive urban infill project for the historic Dundee neighborhood in Midtown Omaha. The final building is home to six residential units, 5,000 SF of ground floor commercial space, and 6,000 SF of second floor tenant space, including a pediatrician’s office. Brick was used as the primary material to contextualize the building while custom fabricated steel panels were designed and installed at street level for a contemporary look. The screens simultaneously filter light, provide a human-scale street experience, and bestow the new building with a unique identity.
