Welcome to new APMA-ers Adam and Savannah! Adam is the third Adam in our office, but we only have one Savannah…so far. Hop on over to our people page to learn more about them.
APMA worked with UNMC, Olsson and Associates, and artist Jun Kankeo to envision and create this new “campus gateway” honoring Dr. Larisa Poluetktova – a long-time employee. 18 hand painted columnar monoliths follow a curving path connecting busy Leavenworth St. to the campus interior. New landscaping complements the forms and creates an opportunity for rest, reprieve and contemplation.

From the artist’s statement: “Throughout history columnar monolithic forms have been intrinsically inspiring to our human experience. To look up builds feelings of awe and trust, and carries our thoughts beyond our immediate presence.”
