Jenny Zimmer

Architecture

Jenny, a partner at APMA, is an award-winning expert in urban design and the design of arts and entertainment spaces. Her work on some of the firm’s most complex projects has included transforming an abandoned power plant and a decommissioned hospital into iconic and modern apartment buildings. Jenny has also led design efforts for some of the area’s most exciting entertainment venues, from The Slowdown music venue and Film Streams independent movie theater, to the Hoff Center for Performing Arts and LAMB Regional Theater in Iowa.   Jenny’s work in downtown settings makes her an expert on managing projects that have tight boundaries and require a sensitive approach to phasing and construction. As the president of the North Downtown Community Alliance and downtown resident, Jenny is passionate about the things that make downtown Omaha a great place to live, work and play.
