From humble beginnings in a spare bedroom to our 68-person office in North Downtown Omaha, we’ve never lost sight of our deep roots in the communities we serve. Our clients range from visionary developers to world-changing non-profits, and everything in between. Together we strive to build cities and neighborhoods that add to the social fabric.

Dedication

People, design, and community have always been at the heart of everything we do. We are steadfastly committed to this dedication and to the notion that we are better together.

Put People First

We strive to maintain a positive and supportive culture while creating opportunities for inclusion and diversity in everything we do.

Advance Design

We believe in the transformative power of good design. We also believe that good design can and should be for everyone.

Build Community

Our work aims to cultivate meaningful connections in our community, making them more beautiful and vibrant; helping them to be healthier.

Studio + Culture

Our studio is a physical representation of who we are; open, inclusive, non-hierarchical, creative, a little bit messy, and always fun.

Located on the first floor of the Tip Top Building, we are right in the heart of North Downtown, a neighborhood we care deeply about. You'll see our hand in a number of projects in the surrounding area that help make our corner of Omaha a better place to live, work, and play.

Process

Collaborative thinking is the hallmark of our approach to design.

APMA is committed to a truly collaborative process with each client. We like to employ a number of engagement activities – from regional tours of similar buildings, to stakeholder focus groups and surveys – to ensure that the design of each project is reflective of the user’s needs, aspirations, and culture.
