IT Support Specialist

 

Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture is seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role supports our firm’s technology infrastructure and daily operations, providing hands-on assistance across a wide range of IT functions including hardware setup, software support, network troubleshooting, AV systems, cybersecurity, and data management.

We’re a dynamic, design-focused architecture firm, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both general office technology and architecture-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Skills
• Proficiency in Windows Desktop and Server, and basic familiarity with macOS and Linux
• Familiarity with architecture software (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Suite)
• Experience with Windows AD, Azure, PowerShell scripting, and basic database management
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Clear communication with non-technical staff
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and work collaboratively
• Adaptability to new technologies and changing environments
