OneWorld Pediatric Dental Clinic
Crafting Healthy Smiles
OneWorld Community Health Centers selected a gaming theme for their new pediatric dental clinic, aiming to create a welcoming atmosphere for school-aged children and to significantly alleviate any dental anxieties they might have. To further enhance the patient experience, APMA created a story featuring two characters—heroic children who embark on adventures to conquer various dental villains—and brought the story to life for patients along the corridors. The characters emerge as champions of oral health, inspiring patients to embrace their dental-care journey.

Framed artwork that narrates this unique story is strategically placed throughout the clinic, serving both as a visual journey and a wayfinding tool, guiding patients through their visit with a sense of adventure and discovery. Oversized custom characters keep patients company in procedure rooms and provides a familiar relief from the clinic environment.
