The Switch

Evolution Meets Eatery

The Switch beer and food hall provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate Omaha’s industrial history and agricultural pedigree, all with a forward-thinking view of our city. Located in the Blackstone neighborhood, one APMA has had a big hand in transforming, The Switch houses seven unique vendors with indoor and outdoor dining on the ground floor of Blackstone Corner (another APMA project). But we aren’t only responsible for the building and the fit out, we also did the branding and graphics for the space! The Switch is part of a city that is shifting and changing, all reflected in a space and menus that reflects entrepreneurial spirit and gastronomic talents.

Scope of Work
Tenant Improvement

Date of Completion
2020

Omaha’s newest food hall took inspiration from its industrial history, agricultural pedigree, and the streetcar that used to operate steps from it’s door. The logo was designed to move, expressing the shift that Omaha, and the Blackstone District, has seen over the past 100 years. The kinetic system reflects the ever-changing menus and versatility of the space.
